This task
took place in IV7 on 05/06/2014 and 09:09 am. Kyle was able to change create
a file structure in his documents, he then created 3 folders home, work and study.
He was also able to clean the mouse, keyboard and the display screen. He was
then able to configure the operating system to perform back-up procedure, automatic, scheduling and deletion of unwanted data,
archiving, defragmentation. He was then able delete files through his
documents. Kyle then replaced the printer and damaged mouse.

For P6, learners must configure some basic system settings, such as
left and right mouse buttons, powersaving options, screen resolution, desktop
theme, font size, default language setting, default folder locations etc.

The task took place 03/06/2014 10.08 am. Kyle was able to change the size of the icon by clicking view and selecting large icons. This then allowed an icon to become larger than usual. Kyle was also able to change font sizes by selcting the control panel and selecting the font size option on appearance and personalization. Kyle was also able to change his background to red by the personalize option.
